Sailman 4000 Slide Profile for External 'Rivet-On' Tracks

To improve the efficiency of Sailman 4000 Full Batten Systems in external track spars, Bainbridge International has developed a new 24mm range of slide profiles specifically for this application.

The new 24mm profile features reduced slug depth. This ensures that, even when under compression, load is transferred directly to the aft face of the track via low friction dimpled wear pads. The result is greater efficiency and reduced friction.

Beware of using normal depth full batten slides that transfer load via the slug and bear on the inside of external track; a well known cause of friction and binding.

The new slides include all the usual Sailman 4000 benefits: fully articulating stainless steel hinges, fibre stabilised mouldings with PTFE additives, stainless steel slug inserts, quality engineering, excellent value and efficient operation.

Designed for the most common 'Rivet-On' external tracks that suit 23mm (A009) type slides, there are 24mm version for series 35 and 55 boxes, head and intermediate applications.
