Bainbridge Sailcloth WINS the Vendee Globe 17/02/2001
Ellen MacArthur on Kingfisher was also using Bainbridge Sailcloth's AIRX spinnaker fabrics to gain a historic second place. Ellen won her class in the Route Rhum using a full inventory of Bainbridge Sailcloth including SCL Spectra Laminate mainsail and jib and an AIRX spinnaker. Michel Desjoyeaux won the Vendee Globe using SCL laminates by Bainbridge International.
